Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29/07/2026

1. Introduction & Scope

Welcome to ParkPulse (hereinafter referred to as "the App", "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, share, and safeguard your personal data when you interact with our application, dashboard layouts, and account interfaces.

By creating an authenticated profile or utilising our App, you acknowledge the data practices delineated in this policy. Because our systems help users plan their visits across global destinations, we endeavour to satisfy standard privacy thresholds, including regional data protection regulations and applicable cross-border data processing laws.

2. Information We Collect

We categorise the data processed by our system pipelines into three distinct classifications:

A. User Identity & Authentication Data (Managed via Clerk): To create an account and keep track of your active access pass duration, we utilise a secure integration with Clerk. This includes your username, verified email address, unique profile identifier numbers, pass expiration records, and basic security account creation logs.

B. Billing & Financial Transaction Data (Managed via Stripe): When purchasing an access pass, all financial processing is managed directly by Stripe. We do not store, view, or process raw credit card numbers or banking codes on our local servers. Stripe shares non-sensitive transaction fields with us, including your chosen pass tier (1-Day or 7-Day pass), billing region, transaction confirmation tokens, and pass expiration boundaries.

C. System Performance & Configuration Data (Stored via Supabase & Hosting Frameworks): As you interact with our dashboard, our application dynamically interfaces with our database architecture hosted via Supabase and server frameworks via Fly.io. We log your general IP address location parameters, web browser type, system layouts (e.g., card or compact list preference), custom watchlisted attraction names, and feature request timestamps to maintain security and optimise server performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your personal information under explicit legal bases, primarily the fulfilment of our services to you and our legitimate engineering interests. Specific operational purposes include:

  • Validating your user authorisation status to unlock active features on your dashboard canvas.
  • Processing transaction indicators and checking metadata limits to handle pass expiration times.
  • Monitoring application activity logs to defend our open APIs against automated spam bots, abusive crawling loops, or technical service interruptions.
  • Optimising our internal machine learning calculations by assessing aggregated, anonymous user interaction habits (such as general attraction search volumes or layout popularity tracking).

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Disclosures

We do not sell, rent, trade, or monetise your user profiles to third-party advertising companies. Your information is shared only with sub-processors strictly required to run the foundational infrastructure of the App:

  • Clerk Inc: Utilised to securely manage your authentication state, sign-in sessions, and account profile updates.
  • Stripe Inc: Utilised to route transaction flows, render secure payment checkout screens, and handle standard billing compliance.
  • Supabase Inc. & Fly.io Inc: Utilised as our core cloud database vaults and virtual server networks to process background code scripts, calculate wait models, and manage real-time queues.

Additionally, we may disclose your data if explicitly compelled to do so by an official government order, court subpoena, or statutory regulation, or if necessary to defend our application against fraudulent behaviour or platform vulnerabilities.

5. Data Retention & Profile Deletion (Clerk Sync)

We retain your core identity profiles and account metadata preferences for as long as your account remains active within our database. Historical wait log records and crowd metrics stored via Supabase are kept anonymously to refine our machine learning models.

Self-Service Account Purge: You have absolute control over your profile footprint. If you choose to terminate your account profile by clicking the "Delete Account" button inside your Clerk user account configuration panel, our system will automatically initiate a data-wiping routine. All directly identifiable metrics, credentials, usernames, and emails linked to your unique user ID will be completely erased or permanently anonymised across our servers within thirty (30) business days.

6. International Data Transfers

Our server configurations, host databases, and sub-processors operate on cloud server instances located inside the United States and the European Union. If you are accessing the App from another location, please note that your information will be transferred across regional borders. We protect these data channels by ensuring our infrastructure partners implement robust security standards and valid cross-border data protection blueprints.

7. Cookies and Local Browser Storage

Our system utilises functional web cookies, local browser storage states, and session tokens to maintain your login persistence and cache user choices (including custom watchlisted items, hidden attractions, and preferred viewing parameters). These storage configurations are technically necessary to execute core dashboard tasks. If you block your browser's cookie storage permissions, certain authentication flows and real-time dashboard updates will stop working correctly.

8. Children's Privacy Guard & Age Restrictions

Protecting the data security of minors is a core structural parameter of our application. ParkPulse is an analytical utility intended exclusively for adult planners and individuals who are at least 13 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect, query, or process personal data from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a user under 13 has bypassed our eligibility guidelines and established an account profile through Clerk, we will terminate the profile credentials immediately and wipe all associated metrics permanently from our Supabase tables.

9. Security Disclaimers & Data Liability Protection

Please read this section carefully, as it establishes absolute boundaries regarding our structural data liability:

No Absolute Security: While we enforce modern encryption protocols, token signatures, and secure third-party databases, no transmission of information over the internet can be guaranteed as 100% invulnerable. We cannot warrant, guarantee, or promise absolute security against zero-day exploits, server compromises, or systemic data leaks executed by malicious threat actors.

Limitation of Data Liability: By using our services, you explicitly agree that ParkPulse, its developers, and associated entities shall have no financial or legal liability to you for any data breaches, unintended records exposures, malicious hacking events, identity theft issues, or system compromises. You use our services entirely at your own risk.

10. Amendments to this Policy

We reserve the absolute right to adapt, update, or rewrite this Privacy Policy at any time to align with legal mandates or shifts in our backend processing tools. Any revision will be marked by an updated "Last Updated" timestamp at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App following an update constitutes your binding agreement to the amended policy guidelines.

11. Contact Information

For questions concerning this Privacy Policy, your data footprints, or data processing security practices, please contact us via the official user support options located within the App.
